This park is one of the most visited in Georgia. Its location near Atlanta and the fact it is located along he banks of Lake Allatoona are two big draws. It also has a campground, cabins for rent, picnic facilities, a swimming beach, hiking trails, and more.
Unicoi offers some of the best of North Georgia. The main section of the park circles a large lake, the forest and surroundings are very beautiful, and there is a campground and in-the-park overnight rental facilities.
GA Veterans' also has a lake as its centerpiece attraction. You can camp at this park and take a day trip on a train that can take you to a number of interesting places to see in this area of Georgia.
